Her current focus includes advancing climate and ESG-aligned investment financing, particularly in partnership with Small Island Developing States in the Pacific.
Dr. Marinescu’s distinguished career spans high-impact roles across key UN entities and international financial institutions. Based in New York as Senior Expert for the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), she advises on inclusive market development strategies for Small Island Developing States in the Pacific.
